At Columbia, Henry served on the Advocacy Committee of Habitat for Humanity and as the Treasurer and Coordinator of Project for the Homeless. His commitment to community service extends to his internship experiences. During college, he analyzed fundraising campaigns for non-profit organizations such as Covenant House, Northeast Animal Shelter, and Freedom From Hunger at a midtown New York marketing agency. He utilized his writing, research, and editing skills to assist Chinese families in immigration matters at two downtown New York law offices. Henry continues to be interested in doing client-facing work that enables individuals to pursue their goals.
Before joining AIM GLOBAL, Henry worked at the Beijing office of another education consulting company. He shaped distinctive features of that company’s programs, including their “Initial Evaluation” system, “Gauntlet” summer writing curriculum, and “Strikes and Rallies” progress tracking method. He played pivotal roles in initiatives such as the company’s bilingual podcast, social media marketing, and an online database of enrolled and potential students. Henry brings these experiences, as well as over half a decade of working with students embarking upon their American college journey.
